Located in the center of the city at the juncture of the Taohua River and the Lijiang River, it is a national scenic zone of AAAA level. It is so called because it is in the shape of an elephant drinking water from the river. Made up of pure limestone deposited at the sea bottom 360 million years ago, it is a masterpiece of the Karst landform. In the scenic zone, there are over 50 stone carvings on the cliffs, which are works of many famous peots in history. The most famous scene in the scinic zone is the Water-and-Moon Cave, which together with its reflection in the water is just like a full moon floating on the river.
