It was named by Huang Tingjian, a poet of the Song Dynasty during his wisit. Located at the junction of Changning and Jiang’an Countries, Yibin, it is 300 kilometers north of Chengdu and is famous for the 10,000-hectare sea of bamboos. The scenic spot covers an area of 120 square killometers with 28 hills covered by bamboos.
