Birthplace of the Chinese Civilization

The Yellow River, crowned as the Mother-river of the Chinese nation, hosts the major origins where the Chinese civilization came from. Throughout the 5000+ years of China’s history, she has been nurturing the Chinese people and their culture. For some 3000+ years, regions along the Yellow River have been dominated by the national political, economic and cultural centers and incubated the historically-renowned Hehuang Culture, Heluo Culture, Guangzhong Culture and Qilu Culture. Moreover, the Four Inventions of ancient China, i.e. papermaking, printing, gunpowder and the compass were born in the cradle of the Yellow River, and so was a portfolio of classic literature such as the Classic of Poetry(Pinyin: Shijing), the Tao Te Ching(Pinyin: Dao De Jing) and the Historical Records( Pinyin: Shiji). If you go on a trip following this route, you’ll be able to explore numerous museums, significant world archeological discoveries and iconic heritages, and could trace back the progress of the Chinese civilization.
