Happy Valley - Wuhan
Plum Blossom Mountain - Nanjing
Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines has restarted direct flights from Sydney to Nanjing and Wuhan from this month of July as the SkyTeam member and Qantas partner continues to rebuild its Australian network.
The Sydney-Nanjing and Sydney-Wuhan services run three times a week, with each one operating an Airbus A330 jet fitted with China Eastern’s latest 1-2-1 business class flatbeds, adding extra 1,386 seats to the China-Australia market per week.
Nanjing is the capital city and a historical and cultural hub of China’s Jiangsu province, while Wuhan is the capital of the Hubei province and the largest city in Central China.
With increasing direct flights available between Australia and China, ticket prices are experiencing drops in July and August, typically off-peak season for bilateral travel.
